I am excited to join the teaching staff at WCFCW after participating as a camper and organizing committee member. In my role as co-teacher with Donna Wynn, I look forward to learning about and maximizing the interests and talents of our young players as they acquire new tunes and grow as musicians.
One of my goals is to cultivate in them a love of old-time music, help them realize the joy and fulfillment of developing their skills and to appreciate the opportunity to make music with others of all ages. We plan to provide a well-rounded experience that will be a balance of learning, practice and fun.
I have degrees in music performance, music education and special education from Southern Oregon University and University of Oregon and am currently employed as a music specialist in the Junction City School District.
